PW's COVID-19 Update:
3-16-2020 12:29PM: In an effort to maintain a common structure and routine for students, my classes (Video 1 & Animation 2) have the ability to continue their learning at home in a way that is nearly identical to school.
For some students and families, maintaining this structure and routine will be a huge benefit. If you are in that situation, I encourage you to keep learning and participate with our class.
For some students and families, their lives have been completely uprooted and it will not be possible for them to maintain our structure and routine. If you are in this situation, I totally understand that you might not be able to fully participate with our class. Send me a quick email and let me know what's going on for you right now - especially if there is some way that I can help you.
You and your family's safety and security during this time is the most important thing right now.
Please participate in whatever parts of our class you are able to.
3-26-2020 - Many companies have begun offering free classes and software to students, including Adobe - who has offered up the Creative Cloud Suite to students for free. For more information on all of those resources, check out this article from No Film School.
3-26-2020 - It's official. Schools will be closed through May 1, meaning that we'll return to classes on May 4, 2020; unless things with COVID-19 continue to change. But, that's great news for all of us. Video Productions will be able to do all of their group projects when we return and finally get our hands on our cameras. Animation will be back just in time to work on Blender, our 3D Animation software.
