By now, you should have received the district's communication about COVID-19 and the closure of the schools. The safety of our students, families, and community is of the utmost importance. One of the best ways to alleviate the stress and anxiety of sheltering in place is maintaining our routine. While we cannot be at school together, we can continue our studies online. We are going to postpone our group assignments (the Shots Project, the Sequences Mini-Movies, the Music Video/Commercial, & the Short Film) until we can physically be together again. We will however, continue with our Word of the Day, our Short Story, our Screenplay, our lectures, our quizzes, and our SoundFX. I have moved the due date for the rough draft of the short story to Wednesday. Please turn in the rough draft of your short story by 12:30PM on Wednesday on TurnItIn.com. Go back and revisit weeks 1 and 2 for more details if you are unsure of that assignment's guidelines. By Wednesday evening, TurnItIn.com will send you two stories to read, evaluate, and give feedback on. This feedback must be completed by Friday at 12:30PM. By Friday evening, students will be able to read the feedback from their peers and begin their final drafts. If this plan changes, I will post on our Weebly. I'll be available daily via email and will have our lectures recorded and up on this Weebly. If you have questions, please contact me at [email protected]. It is best to use your student lvjusd.org account or for parents/guardians to reach out using their email. So, let's stay safe, stay at home, and keep on learning! Let's get through this together. Hey Chris. Awesome question. I'm working to get my quizes turned into online quizes through Google Forms. I'm hoping that you'll be able to take the quiz online and I'll be able to grade/score them through the form. We'll most likely make the first couple just experiments so that we can get folks (and me) comfortable with the new format.
